Join Mr. John Loggins, Director of Community Engaged Learning and Ms. Maria Silva, Director of Neighborhood & Community Engaged Partnerships as they share about USD's commitment to being an "anchor institution" and engaging with the world around through its proximity to the US-Mexico border.

Our second day of the Virtual Open House started with the deans of all three of USD's undergraduate colleges/schools - the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, and the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering - sharing USD's pursuit of academic excellence, efforts toward faculty diversity and the interdisciplinary focus of the academic programs you will experience as a Torero.

Hear from Ms. Robin Darmon, Senior Director of the Career Development Center, and Mr. Charles Bass, Director of Alumni Relations, as they discuss the career preparation services provided to our Toreros during their time at USD and beyond as alumni. Belonging at USD is more than just belonging while on campus; it's belonging for life.

USD Commons and Campus Resources

This engaging session centers on the resources USD provides to Toreros through the USD Commons. Mr. Ryan Jumamil, Director of Student Support Services, and Dr. Ashley Barton, Director of the Black Student Resource Commons, explore how students from all backgrounds, identities and journeys are welcomed into and supported by the Torero community.

Staying ConnecteD As Parents & Families

Ms. Renda Quinn, Director of Parent and Family Relations, examines how she and the USD community help parents and families stay connected to USD and their Torero while providing a healthy and safe USD experience for their Torero.
